EXPERIENCES

I've studied sound and music production in over six years. First at Nacka gymnasium and later at Dalarna University where I got a bachelor degree in Sound and music production.

 

I wrote my bachelor thesis about "the sound designers role in the video game industry" where I interviewed three different sound designers in different parts of the industry and compared their outlook and experience of the industry.

 

I've worked on video games for different platforms, both as a sound designer and composer, but also as designer, programmer and more on my own projects.

 

I worked as an intern at Dobedai produktionsbyrÄ where I recorded voice over, edited, composed and worked with sound design for various radio commercials and podcasts.

 

For game development I'm experienced with Unreal Engine 4 and Fmod for audio implementation

For sound design and music production I work in both Logic Pro X and Pro tools.

I'm also a Avid certified user for pro tools 11 and Avid certified operator music.

WHO I AM

My name is MĂ„ns Gustavsson and I'm a sound designer from Stockholm, Sweden. I work with sound design for video games, films, podcasts and radio. I also write music and develop video games with focus on sound design and audio storytelling. I'm currently developing my own games and working as a freelancing sound designer and composer,
